Dragon Banner
I’ve been wanting to come across something like this for a while now — art that has fantasy elements, but in a somewhat different style from what’s usually associated with the genre.
I’d love to see this up close. For now, on-screen will have to suffice.
This dragon banner was created using Tempra paint on large canvas by Gaia Borgias Brown, an artist and graphic designer. Her educational background includes the study of psychology, branding, advertising, design, and business communications.
Gaia loves both the crisp confidence of black and white, and colour that is bold and daring.
She feels that advertising is the perfect blend of simple design and complex psychology. It is her goal to produce art in a way that is intelligent, stylish, and emotionally powerful.
Yes, yes, oh yes.
* Note from Gaia: The banner was designed to hang on the street downtown for a New Year’s Celebration in 2001/2002 in Spokane, Washington. What she likes most is that the wings are actually made of a thin gauze cloth, glued on with red sparkles.

I like the simplicity in this one. Very clean.
I’m looking for artwork depicting a red dragon (preferentially comical) for my blog. Any ideas to where I should look?
