1. (Goblin) Henchman

2. Mystic Woods
Jeff Ward entered college as an engineering major, but realised engineering wasn’t for him. He transferred to graphic design, which was not quite right either, so he went back to his original idea of being an artist.
Henchman is one of the artist’s first digital pieces. The image is small, because this is the only version of the painting that could be found. Unfortunately, a high resolution version may not have been saved (oh dear — what happens when you go digital).
Mystic Woods was done in acrylics, and part of a series on trees (as well as the equally mystical Sanctuary, which can be found in the gallery).
Jeff has won several art show awards at Science Fiction conventions. He continues to illustrate for book covers and magazines. Recently, he has also been creating eye-catching illustrations for the gaming industry.
