male faery

goth punk faery

2. Untitled Faery

1. Montague is a faery depiction I do not come across very often.

You’ll find a wide spectrum of colors in Kate Dolamore’s artwork — I just thought these two made a very nice match. Both were done in watercolours and markers. Steel Blue Entoloma — from the artist’s online portfolio — also features a punk-fashioned male faery.

Kate was born in August, 1984. Her favourite musical artistes include (the insanely talented) David Bowie, The Faint, Flogging Molly, The Good Life, Iron and Wine, Mindless Self Indulgence, Radiohead, and Rufus Wainwright. She has contributed to drawing books on fairies, and participated in art shows like Dragon*con.

Prints and paintings can be purchased at Kate’s etsy shop.

Such a coincidence! Today I saw two fairies in my dream, one male and one female with wings. Both of them were white, but male one was actually on the dark side.
