“Little Jean sits under the tree. Imagination runs wild as time goes by, as reflected in the tree foliage.”

“I usually draw simple figures, like this cat.”

“My interpretation of a baby’s room.”

Jeanette Wong’s works are filled with single lined outlines and usually encompass a sense of humor. She likes adding a fun aspect to her artwork. She also draws in many little details, to invite the viewer to take a second look and find something new.

The third piece is the artist’s interpretation of a baby’s room. The yellow/orange bubbles portray the joy a baby feels as he giggles when he feels thrilled.

Many of her designs mix a dreamy feel into a minimalist style. The white space in the picture is there to give emphasis and focus to the key component/s.

Jeanette is a big fan of Philippe Starck. Though this blog of Jeanette’s was created as part of a school project, I hope she’ll continue to post her delightful drawings online.
