Romantic Fantasy Art
February 13, 2008
As the title says.
Will feature each artist individually in future posts. I found most of these pictures at the same time — so I’ve decided to show them all at one go as well.
ps: i’m thinking of further expanding the content on this blog. it’ll be a subtle progression.
pps: one could probably deduce my diplomatic streak from this set of visuals.

I have a hard time believing 1 & 4 are the paintings. The faces look so real to me. They are so detailed. How can somone paint so well?!! I love the 5th one a lot, it reminded me of Haruka in Tactics anime a little bit. The sad and thoughtful face. Though, Haruka was a Tengu with dark wings and dark hair. So, I put imaginary wings on that picture for my enjoyment

yeah, i remember first coming across the artist’s paintings (of #1 and #4), a few years ago (i think). still always makes me go “whoa!”
my knowledge of anime is unfortunately not very extensive. there’s one with a lot of angels (i remember the wings) and the artwork is pretty dark — but i forgot the title. my favourite has been Rurouni Kenshin for a long time.
now i’ve to see to individual meta + other tweaks for the bunch of sites. tedious, but necessary.
