Kiriko Moth always knew she was going to be an artist — in the sense that even if it wasn’t a career path, she’d still be drawing all the time.

Kiriko was born in Sacramento, but grew up in Santa Fe and Nashville. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a BFA in graphic design and illustration. She now lives in San Francisco, where she is working at immersing herself more in the local art community.

She dabbles in just about every method and medium. She loves to mix the traditional with the new — her work begins in pencil and ink on bristol paper, which is scanned and colored in Photoshop.
